How To Make The Salt Water Flush At Home & Cleanse The Colon
Nowadays, salt water flushes are very popular-these drinks are
praised for the ability to detoxify the colon, but also relieve
constipation. It’s promoted as part of the Master Cleanse detox and
fasting program.
Flushing with salt water actually means drinking a combination of
warm water and non-iodized salt. This drink has a laxative effect on
the body and it usually leads to a bowel movement within 30 minutes to
an hour.
For others, it may take longer. Some people swear by this drink’s
power to cleanse the body of toxins, old waste, and parasites in the
colon.
Although it does clean the bowel short-term, there’s no science
on whether it cleanses the body from toxins, parasites, and ‘waste
build-up’.
However, there’s a lot of anecdotal evidence and testimonials of people who’ve tried it out.
It may be a good option for you if you have irregular bowel movements or you suffer from chronic constipation.
